Value of Hordeum vulgare L. genotypes in terms of yield and its stability

Our purpose was to determine the value of spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) cultivars and lines in terms yield its stability. The GGE biplot analysis competitive cultivar trial data used. Due biplot, relationships between under investigation with environment (years their cultivation) were visualised. mega-environment 2018 2020 most optimal one for yields from cultivars, especially Grace, Amil, Troian Talisman Myronivskyi, while 2019 Avhur, Margret Khors. ranking graphically described genotypes by average stability over three years: Margret, Troian, Datcha, Khors, Ahrarii, Myronivskyi Herkules high-yielding cultivars; naked Merlin, Gatunok Akhiles gave lowest yields; Gladys, Gatunok, Yavir, Kontrast Khors highly stable KWS Bambina Rezerv low stable. Of Grace ones. also visualised comparison hypothetical ‘ideal’ genotype highest ‘breeding value’: best (5.43 t ha–1), second (5.31 followed (5.27 Krechet (5.00–5.22 ha–1). As a conclusion identified patterns, we established practical breeding ha–1) (5.22 conditions different years, as well responsive Amil (5.37 Avhur growing conditions.
